Hi everyone,
I must say I had a wonderful time at our group tonight. It was great that I didn't have to say much because you guys were doing fine one your own.
I was moved by your sincerity and frankness. Next time I will have more tissues  Wink

For those who missed the meeting:
We had quite a few people who had their surgeries over 2 years ago and they we more than happy to share the secrets of their success. The group discussed being happy with and loving yourself regardless of what body you are in. One person stated that if you did not love yourself before surgery you are not likely to love yourself after. Surgery does not take away the problems or issues in your life or household. Surgery wont fix a rocky marriage or relationship , clear the debts, or make you smarter.Yes, your health will be better and even add a few years and you will be able to physically do more and probably even look amazing in a bathing suit or fancy outfit.
So try to make the best of your life and yourself, always. If  your love yourself everyone will see and cant help but love you too.

Hey there,

My name is Oscar Rios, and I should be attending the meeting later today (May 28th) with my wife and 13 year old son.   I've been going to doctors for most of 2008 so far getting ready to take this step.  So... tonight may be the first page on this next chapter.  I'm a mix of excited and nervous, trying not to get my hopes up.  I'm looking forward to attending.
