Hello, I am considering the lapband and will the attend the meeting on Tues August 25th. I would like to know if anyone knows if Blue Cross/Blue Shield covers this procedure and if anyone has any suggestions for me.

Hello,
Welcome to the online support group for our program.  BCBS does cover the procedure but it requires 6 months of preoperative medically supervised weight loss.  I hope this helps and hope to see you soon.
