January Support Group ReCap - Plastic Surgery

Hello Everyone,
This month we had pleasure of having a Plastic Surgeon, Dr Michael Brickman, as our guest speaker.
He spoke about the realistic expectations of having reconstructive surgery and how to prepare physically and financially for surgery.
Plastic surgery is definitely not for everyone but if you are considering it as as option let us know what your concerns are.
When will you be ready?
How do I document hygiene issues caused by excess skin?
What is the recovery time?
What about the scars?
What about the pain?
If you have had plastic surgery done in the past we would love to hear from you too.
Please use this thread to voice any opinions or ask any questions about this topic or this meeting.
